Zera Chardonnay : Review

Before we start: If you are new to drinking non-alcoholic wine try my 2 minute Guide to Non-Alcoholic Wine and my Top Non-Alcoholic Drinks Picks. This is refreshingly different off-dry alcohol free white wine. Why? The vast majority of non-alcoholic white wines have flavours in the citrus range…lemon, lime, apple, grapefruit. But here Zera Chardonnay has intense apricot, and occasional peach. So, it’s firmly a stone-fruit play. And while many chardonnay’s can display a stone fruit character, this wine is much nearer the flavour profile of the viognier wines from the the Northern Rhone, albeit with less focus and finesse. An almost golden colour, and distinctly off-dry with good intensity to the flavour. Vegan friendly. Organic. Recommended.
