Thomson & Scott Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay: Review
Before we start: If you are new to drinking non-alcoholic wine try my 2 minute Guide to Non-Alcoholic Wine. Thomson & Scott Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay is a dry, balanced non-alcoholic wine. It ticks a lot of boxes by being vegan-friendly, Halal certified, zero alcohol, and organic. It is pale lemon-green in colour with medium intensity lemon dominant aromas on the nose. In the mouth there’s a clean taste of grapefruit, lemon, and a mere hint of pineapple. Nice drink with medium length finish and a citrus emphasis.
The bottle cost above AUD 25 which is a premium price considering there’s no alcohol tax built into the price.
Energy is 77kJ per 100ml, so roughly one fifth of the same volume of wine.
