Pure Artisan Cheese Black Ash Triple Brie: Review

Delicious. Pure Artisan Cheese Black Ash Triple Brie is a cow’s milk cheese from Queensland that is made from non-animal rennet, so it is vegetarian friendly. It has a lovely softness inside the white mould rind along with a nose of medium intensity. With the ash streak through the middle it is perhaps no surprise that that is a mineral element to the taste, yet the cream added to make this cheese a triple brie delivers good dairy flavours. There are some vegetable notes and a hint of umani too. Good long finish. Very, very enjoyable.
