Plus and Minus Alcohol Free Prosecco: Review

Before we start: If you are new to drinking non-alcoholic wine try my 2 minute Guide to Non-Alcoholic Wine and my Top Non-Alcoholic Wine Picks. Plus and Minus alcohol free Prosecco is an enjoyable sparkling wine that is good value for money at AUD 15 ( USD 10.80, 9.2 Euros). Although it does have some of prosecco’s fresh cut apple notes in the flavour profile it does not taste like classic prosecco – certainly not the way that Oddbird Spumante does. It could be presented as a champagne style non-alcoholic sparkling and I’d be no wiser. That said, the drink is pleasant and balanced and sits nicely within the broader Plus and Minus range. At the time of writing this is the only Australian made non-alcoholic drink sold as prosecco.

Alcohol is less than 0.5% ABV. Energy 130 kJ (15.2 Cal) per 100ml which is relatively high compared to some other non-alcoholic sparkling drinks, but still much lower than alcoholic equivalents.

Where to Buy

Plus and Minus is a relatively easy to find brand in bricks and mortar retail. I got mine fro Decanters on the Bay in Port Melbourne. You’ll find that most Australian online non-alcoholics drinks vendors stock this on. Some of the larger ones are are Alcofree, Craftzero and Sans Drinks. Cost about AUD15 a bottle. Or Google it.
