Non 2 Caramelised Pear and Kombu: Review
Before we start: If you are new to drinking non-alcoholic wine try my 2 minute Guide to Non-Alcoholic Wine. This vegan-friendly drink is a fruit juice with added spices and has never been through fermentation. Non 2 Caramelised Pear and Kombu has a medium intensity nose of caramelised pear, clove, with some vanilla. In the mouth the emphasis changes with ginger and clove in the forefront, fizzy water and pear all in the mix.
The bottle cost above AUD 20 which is a premium price for a fruit juice mixture. Coming in 750ml bottles it can be argued it is being presented as wine, but without alcohol tax built into the price.
Energy is 75kJ per 100ml, so roughly one fifth of the same volume of wine, and lower calories than most non-alcoholic wines.

Tricky to match due to the spices. I’d try with fish stews or Asian foods.

Widely available in Australian high street shops. I got mine in David Jones food hall. It’ll cost about AUD 20+ which is a premium price for a fruit juice mixture.
