Mornington Free Pale Ale – Non-alcoholic: Review

Acceptable and inoffensive beer. Mornington Free Pale Ale is a slightly hazy still non-alcoholic beer with straw/pale colour. There’s a slight tropical or floral aroma, while on the palate is an additional flavour of bread flour giving it a wisp of malt. It is soft with quite a short finish and low astringency.

Not a beer to be given to beer connoisseurs since it lacks the complexity or depth of flavour that they might demand, but maybe this beer would work with friends on a sunny afternoon having lazy fun on the beach.

The can cost about AUD 4.50.

Where to Buy

There are several vendors online for this beer, including some branches of Dan Murphys so use your search engine. I got mine from Decanters by the Bay in Port Melbourne. The producers Mornington Peninsula Brewery sell it at their premises south of Melbourne
