Meredith Goat’s Cheese with Ash: Review
Enjoyable goat’s cheese from Victoria. Meredith Goat’s Cheese with Ash is a visually striking cheese with its contrast of black ash and the white smooth mouse-like cheese paste. Because of the ash it is no surprise there is a minerality to the taste profile that builds on top of the dairy and herbaceous flavours. It has a lot of natural sweetness along with salt and acid, which makes for a complete eat. Good intensity to the smell. Vegetarian friendly.

Wine Matching | Wine Pairing
Try whiite wine with some acidity to cut through the dairy flavours, grapes such as riesling, sauvignon blanc, Hahndorf Hill Gruner Veltliner or go for power with a shiraz. Or see my cheese and wine pairing guide for more options.
