Plus and Minus Shiraz 2020: Review

One of the best Australian de-alcoholised red wines: McGuigan Zero Shiraz is a pleasant fruity medium bodied red. It’s lighter in body and taste profile than most alcoholic shiraz. As a result it is easier to quaff and should be food matched in a manner suited to light to medium bodied red wines. There’s a little bit sugar sweetness. Unless you are very sensitive to sugar this will not be a problem.

Food Matching | Food Pairing

Although shiraz is usually matched with sheep and goats milk cheeses, the relative lightness and fruitiness of this one means I suggest a softer style cow or buffalo milk cheese like L’Artisan Marcel, Chamela, Boatshed Tempest, Woombye Ash Triple Brie, or see my cheese and wine pairing guide for more options.

Where to Buy

Always try Wine Searcher It’ll cost about AUD 12. I got mine from Dan Murphys.
