Lyre’s Classico: Review
Before we start: If you are new to drinking non-alcoholic wine try my 2 minute Guide to Non-Alcoholic Wine and my Top Non-Alcoholic Drinks Picks. Lyre’s Classico is a non-alcoholic white sparkling drink. On the can it says it can mixed with Aperol or Lyre’s non-alcoholic equivalent to make an Aperol Spritz. As a consequence Lyre’s Classico is positioned as being an equivalent to prosecco wine, though nothing in Lyre’s marketing actually says it tastes of prosecco. This is a good thing, because it doesn’t taste like prosecco at all. It is a pleasant drink that is reminiscent of a floral based cordials with a hint of sherbet.
18 calories per 100ml, so much better for waistline than any alcoholic wine.
