Haddow Dineen One Hundred Days: Review
Individual sparkling wine from Tasmania. Haddow Dineen One Hundred Days 2020 is made from pinot noir grapes and put through a ‘pet nat’ or ‘methode ancestrale’ process where it is bottled while fermentation is still occurring and without fining. As a result it has a cloudy yellow-ochre coloured appearance. It has a distinct taste too dominated by pear and with a hint of orange rind and a pronounced acidity. It will polarise opinion and get the conversation going. I’ve had a lot of dud pet nats recently. but I liked this one.
