Gouda by Tarago River: Review
Rindless young gouda from Gippsland. There aren’t many artisan goudas made in Australia. The main other that comes to mind is made in the Yarra Valley by Coldstream Dairy. This goudn a by Tarago River is a yellow block cheese with a buttery aroma. Tastes of dairy and some nuttiness. It has a smooth texture that is softer than, say, a cheddar, but firmer than a Havarti. Enjoyable young cheese.
