Giesen 0% Sauvignon Blanc: Review
Before we start: If you are new to drinking non-alcoholic wine try my 2 minute Guide to Non-Alcoholic Wine and my Top Non-Alcoholic Drinks Picks. When served at the right temperature Giesen 0% Sauvignon Blanc is a very passable non-alcoholic wine. It is very temperature sensitive. It needs to be chilled but not fridge cold. Straight out of the refridgerator the flavour profile is grapefruit orientated and a little disjointed. Too warm it is a lemony and a bit watery. In the Goldilocks zone of just right this is a very approachable sauvignon showing typicity of flavour for this an standard Savvy B. Mind you, this is no Cloudy Bay or Sancerre, as it lacks the concentration of flavour, or the classic gooseberry flavour of great Kiwi sauvignon blancs. I enjoyed this. The other strong contenders for good non-alcoholic sauvignon blancs are Lautus Savvy White and Ara Zero
